Our Costs
To simplify our services, we have created three packages based on what our clients to date have preferred. The basic test will give you valuable information in the most cost effective format we can achieve, while the higher level packages give you increasingly detailed levels of reporting and data. Using the menu of costs, you can also customise the packages.
However, not all needs fit into these packages and we are always happy to put together bespoke research plans. Our collaboration with the Institute for Applied Cognitive Science means we are able to call on the latest academic findings and techniques along with published research to supplement our existing knowledge, and we can factor in traditional market research techniques as required.
It is always our policy to be open and transparent, but of course it makes it easy for our competitors to undercut us. If you use our figures as a benchmark and get better quotes, please contact us to see if we could suggest a more cost effective approach.
Standard usability depth test - £6,499
- In depth testing of your website using 6 average consumers or users, tested in our purpose built usability lab.
- Recruitment of six suitable participants by specialist recruitment agency.
- Cost includes participant incentive fees of £40 per head.
- Typically one hour session for each participant (45 minutes screen time). We will work with you to devise suitable tasks to be tested.
- All raw video provided in Windows Media Video format (annotated highlights available at extra cost)
- Output is a presentation at your premises (subject to location) including a PowerPoint presentation (including selected video highlights) to discuss results and feedback.
- One hour of post-project telephone support.
- Your project will be covered by the bit10 Project management process to ensure that your test is delivered on time, to specification and budget.
Standard usability benchmark test - £11,499
- Benchmark testing of your website against at least three competitors (i.e. a total of 4 sites tested) running comparative tasks across all sites.
- Using 12 average consumers or users, tested in our purpose built usability lab.
- Recruitment of twelve suitable participants by specialist recruitment agency.
- Cost includes participant incentive fees of £50 per head
- Typically one hour session for each participant (60 minutes max screen time). We will work with you to devise suitable tasks to be tested.
- All raw video provided in Windows Media Video format (annotated highlights available at extra cost)
- Output is a presentation at your premises (subject to location) including a PowerPoint presentation (including selected video highlights) to discuss results and feedback.
- One hour of post-project telephone support.
- Your project will be covered by the bit10 Project management process to ensure that your test is delivered on time, to specification and budget.
